In October 2021, we held a party in The Triangle, Bournemouth, to celebrate the launch of our Community Advice Vehicle.

BCP Council generously granted Citizens Advice BCP with £55,000 to purchase and renovate a Mercedes Sprinter by Liberty Camper Conversions. This included the fitting of a disability ramp, cupboards, desk, seating and awning; making the vehicle a mobile office.

At our launch day celebrations, we welcomed local dignitaries including the Chairman of BCP Council, Cllr Nigel Hedges and his Worship, the Mayor of Bournemouth, Cllr David Kelsey. Also at the event we heard from Zoe Bradley, CEO of Citizens Advice BCP who welcomed guests and oversaw the cutting of the ribbon.

The Community Advice Vehicle (CAVe) has been warmly welcomed by the public and has been facilitating pop-up outreaches across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole over the past few months. Click here for information on our outreach locations.
